How to install piston rings?
Firstly,prepare the below installation tool :
Correct installation order should:
Expander—oil ring—2nd ring—top ring.
Checking the marks on the ring side, the marked side should face up.
When all rings are in the piston groove,move left and right to check the rings whether to get stuck in the groove.
Place piston ring gap toward 120” to each other.
(A) Top Ring Gap
(B) Second Ring Gap
(C) Oil Ring Gap
(D) Piston Pin Hole
(a) 120°
Lastly, apply lubricating oil on the piston and ring groove.
